Airy began their career in fashion writing for i-D. They became the fashion director of Notion Magazine in 2013 before ultimately going freelance to style for celebrities and brands such as: Fernando Jorge, Paloma Faith, Haim, Ariana Grande and Lianne la Havas.

They regularly take DJ and hosting gigs for brands and clients including: Gavin Turk, Lewis Hamilton, Bulgari, Armani and Universal Music, and their LGBT+-centred Soho Radio music and chat show Them(ish), with Baby Sol, is being developed into a podcast.

Airy was selected for the London Libraries Emerging Writers Programme and is currently working on their debut novel, a fictionalised account of their experiences being raised in a Christian fundamentalist doomsday cult in the East Midlands.
